Do you or your children play American Football?

ACT Head Impact Tracker can help in hazardous events recognition and brain load (= cumulative effect) tracking and management.
Here are some examples on how ACT Head Impact Tracker head sensor and head sensor Pro can be worn with and in American Football helmet.

Note:
1. Helmet is moving somewhat differently than the head inside > The magnitude measurements from sensor attached on the helmet are higher than that measured on a head inside the helmet. Always when possible, also when wearing a helmet, attach sensor on a head using a headband or similar (as picture on the left).
2. If you attach sensor on a helmet, never alter the helmet anyway to do so. Always check and follow helmet's user manual instructions. If sensor is attached in the hard outer shell with a velcro tape (as in the picture on the right) of American football helmet, maximum g-force on a head inside the helmet is approx. 60% of max. g-force measured from the helmet.
3. Only wear the sensor where no direct impacts, blows or pressure occur.
