Very excited to release our newest partnership in football/soccer: ACT Head Impact Tracker is teaming up with the most front-running elite football (soccer) club in Finland, IF Gnistan.
Gnistan does not only have men’s and women’s elite teams in the highest level in the country, but also one of the largest junior and recreational organisations with over 1400 players in it. The pioneering partnership is driven by club’s willingness to go those extra miles to safe guard their players’ health, safety and wellbeing. Which is also the only right way to go developing top performing players and teams.
You can spot ACT Head Impact Trackers on women’s teams' and girls U18 team’s players in their trainings, but more is coming: several research initiatives are derived from the real-life data collected on the pitches, aiming to shed light on the physical brain load the footballers are exposed to, what is driving it, preventive and managing means for the brain load, and much, much more. Shoutout to the key contributor Ville Rapeli and making it happen also Oliver Lindgren, Bea Högdal and Matias Kahlavirta.
Special thanks goest to Goodio, the enabler of this activity, taking the stand and enabling these concrete actions to improve players’ health, safety and wellbeing, as part of their long-standing partnership with IF Gnistan.
Together building better football for all.
